Jetty Dablicator: Pure Kush and Berry White

A few weeks ago stopped by Magnolia Wellness's first ever cannabis farmers market. Vendors were set up outdoors between 9am and 5pm with a variety of different edibles, pre-rolls, concentrates, and flowers. Some of the booths I stopped by included Empress Extracts, Humboldt Infusions, Clarified Confections and Jetty Extracts.  I was running low on my personal wax supply and had previously tried Jetty's Rosin and Gold Co2 wax and found it to be enjoyable at an affordable price.  With that in mind I decided to try out one of their products I had not tried before. I purchased two Dablicators for a total of $35 dollars and went with Berry White and Pure Kush.

The Dablicators resemble a lipgloss container with a metal tip for "easily" dosing wax and is advertised to be a simple twist away from consistently dosing your medication. When I removed the top from my Pure Kush and did my first twist I immediately realized I would need a solid 4-5 twists to dose my dab. This caused a nice messy blob at the tip of the dablicator which made for a sloppy dab. Unfortunately I haven't been able to invest in an E-Nail so I heated up my quartz nail and waited thirty seconds before using the dablicator.

Upon inhale I had this insane taste of burnt popcorn in my mouth and started to cough violently for at least the next five minutes. At first I though maybe I had accidentally burnt some plastic when I dabbed, but I checked the dablicator and nothing was melted.  I waited a few hours before returning to dab and when I returned  I decided to do only one full twist of the dablicator onto a metal tool (to avoid burning plastic if that was the issue). Once again, I got the taste of burnt popcorn. The Berry White had the same taste with less intensity, I thought that maybe the dablicator I purchased was specifically for putting on top of flowers or coating joints, but burning the wax on flower didnt help or mask the taste and after visiting their website I was sure it was supposed to be dab-able.  The design of the dablicator seemed ideal and more aesthetically pleasing to my eye than a syringe, however my Pure Kush container broke within the first few twists and I didnt feel like I was forcing the mechanism to do something it wasnt supposed to, so it came as a surprise when it broke suddenly.

Jetty Extracts is actually a pretty cool company. They have awesome industry parties, beautiful packaging,  provide support for veterans, and have this program called "The Shelter Project" that sounds like an amazing program for the cannabis community.  I would still recommend their Rosin if they ever come back out with it (mostly because of their amazing sustainable packaging). I am happy I got a decent discount on my purchase because otherwise I think I would have been a little upset. That was the first product I have  ever tried with that burnt taste. Try at your own risk, it could have just been a bad batch but maybe stick to their "higher quality" line of products and vape pen cartridges!

Much Love!
